On May 1, 2021, the Legislative Assembly that was recently installed with an absolute majority of the New Ideas1 (NI) party -in an unprecedented event- decided to dismiss the proprietary and alternate magistrates of the Constitutional Chamber (SC) and to the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) and replace them in the same act by other people.
This document analyzes current trends in the country based on the implications that said act has on the validity and respect of human rights.
